The duo we.amps (weird amplifiers) is comprised by Andrea Cavani and Fabio Dall’Oglio, both originally from Varese, Italy. Their story began in 2012 as individual resident DJs at This is not party and, in September 2016, their collaboration began. Spaning from House to Techno, with clear Acid and Old school sounds and a fresh attitude to the Disco sound, it is easy to describe them as humble and devoted “music lovers.” Their residency at This is not allowed them to “open the dances” for artists such as Massimiliano Pagliara, Jackmaster, Dan Shake, Answer Code Request, Paranoid London, Crazy P and many others, greatly refining their musical selection. Thanks to their passion for the analog sound, they debuted in 2018 on Afro Acid, Dj Pierre’s historic label, with the EP “Acid Path.” In 2020 they began collaborating with Solenoid Records – a Berlin- based record label – performing at Hör Radio and at the recurring showcase held at Berlin’s Golden Gate. In 2023 they released on Funnuvojere (Massimiliano Pagliara’s label) with their EP “Airwalk With Amelio”, showing their aesthetic and bold vision of the house sound.
